Are you a manager in the Fire and Rescue Service or other designated emergency services? Or are you a non-emergency services operations or duty manager? Do you have a defined process, with up to date assessors, focused on incident management who understand the relevant standards and guidance?
This course will assist delegates in the ability to identify the difference between competence in acquisition and competence in application and develop best practice across the sector. On completion of this Managing Competence Assessment Course, managers will develop their own personal skills in principles and practice of assessment, critical reflection, mentoring and coaching, facilitation exercises, as well the process of recording results and delivering feedback.
