This innovative new course is focused on the unique environment encountered airside with the range of vehicles that can be involved in incidents.
Through reviewing the issues surrounding people entrapped or involved in motor vehicle incidents, this course is designed to encapsulate the best methods for safe release. This includes examining the design and build of such unique vehicles and best methods to resolve incidents on an airport.
Delegates on this course will undertake a series of theoretical and practical modules, underpinned by digital simulations and up to date concepts from qualified trainers in RTC who hold a wealth of operational experience in this field.
On completion of this course, delegates will be equipped to design and deliver their own RTC and extrication training, including theoretical and practical modules, whilst also gaining the ability to understand and demonstrate the full legal position surrounding RTC scenes.
A full range of exercises and resources will be provided for the trainers to assist in their on-going delivery after the course.
The course will be delivered over 5 days but may be modularised to suit rostering as a 3-day and 2-day course. It can be run at your site, or staff can attend open courses at various locations in collaboration with other airports.
